Come discover the superb Rio Lagartos reserve and its wildlife during this private boat tour with our local captain, in the heart of the mangroves.
 After crossing to Chiquila in the morning, our driver will take us to Rio Lagartos, where we will meet our local certified captain/guide.
 We will embark on a boat trip through the majestic mangroves and canals of the estuary; during this, which lasts approximately 2.5 hours (45 km), we will observe a wide variety of birds in their habitat, and will probably come across many crocodiles which we will have the chance to observe up close.
 We will stop to admire the famous colored water pools of the "Las Coloradas" salt factory and perhaps see pink flamingos; you can then take a Mayan bath, applying clay which will leave your skin soft.
 We will continue the walk stopping at Rio Lagartos Beach, so you can rinse off and swim in the waters of the Gulf of Mexico before returning to port.
 You will have the opportunity to eat by the estuary and stroll around the village or, if you prefer, we will return to Holbox.
